On January 1, 2006, Karen “KC” Crawford at the age of 48, was murdered by her partner. To those who knew her she was a lifelong resident of North Carolina, a respected businesswomen and a biker. But on that New Years Eve day she became North Carolina’s 1st victim of domestic violence for 2006. Her friends and family came together and hosted the 1st Annual KC Ride from Fear which benefited NCCADV's resource library. We honor Karen Crawford as her legacy lives on.
